Marriyum Aurangzeb, the minister of information and broadcasting, has departed for Turkey on a two-day trip to represent Pakistan in the 12th OIC Information Ministers’ Conference, which will begin on Friday in Istanbul.
The meeting will cover topics like false information, Islamophobia, and deceptive promotion.
A plan will be developed to combat anti-Muslim and anti-Islamic propaganda at the level of Islamic nations.
Marriyum Aurangzeb will meet with her counterparts and foreign dignitaries in private on the sidelines of the conference. She will also have a meeting with Turkiye’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism.
