The promotion of children in grades I through III to the following classes will take place without exams, according to a statement from the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department.
The choice was taken in accordance with the minutes of the steering body subcommittee meeting that took place on December 12 of the previous year. The committee determined that August 1 would mark the beginning of the new academic year.
The committee also decided to start the fourth- through eighth-grade exams following Eidul Fitr, which will end on May 6.
It stated that the HSC (XI and XII) exams would start on May 22 and that the yearly exams for classes IX and X would start on May 8. In light of the holy month of Ramadan, the exam dates have been set.
The education administration also agreed that SSC Part II results will be released on or before July 15 and SSC Part I (IX) results would be released in September.
On or before August 15, 2023, the results of HSC Part-II (XII) will be made public, and 60 days later, the results of HSC Part-I (XI).
