Chinese businesses have been urged by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take advantage of Pakistan’s investment potential in the industrial, infrastructural, renewable energy, and digital economy sectors.
He claimed that Pakistan could operate as China’s manufacturing hub and an addition to its industrial and supply chain networks.

The Prime Minister highlighted on making an optimal use of second Phase of China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement and expanding industrial collaboration.
The two nations may advance their bilateral collaboration, according to the prime minister, to promote corporate farming, effective water use, the creation of hybrid seeds and high yield crops, and the establishment of cold storage networks.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, our overarching goal is to maximise the potential of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor for the socioeconomic development of our nation, inclusive and sustainable growth, and the improvement of people’s standard of living. The safety and security of Chinese workers and projects in Pakistan remain our top priority, he added.
The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan looks forward to benefiting from China’s technological advances in early warning systems, creating robust infrastructure, and disaster management in response to the growing threat of climate change. He claimed that the knowledge-based economy has become the new engine for societal expansion. He said that we wanted to increase collaboration in cutting-edge and intelligent technologies including quantum computing, robotics, artificial intelligence, and big data.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, the demands of the twenty-first century call for a new paradigm to address both the opportunities and challenges that are arising, as well as to wean our area off of conflict and conflagration.
According to him, we aim to have cordial relations with our neighbours based on mutual respect and a spirit of cooperation. We also want to use diplomacy and dialogue to settle all unresolved conflicts, including the Kashmir dispute, in a peaceful manner in accordance with the UN charter and its resolutions.
According to him, Pakistan is committed to further strengthening its bilateral ties with China, to promoting regional connectivity and peace, and to taking their all-weather strategic partnership of cooperation to a new level of mutual trust and close cooperation.
The Prime Minister also urged enhancing cross-border cultural contacts and bringing citizens of the two nations together.
