Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, a senior member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and a former prime minister, stated on Sunday that the judiciary should review the judgements that have affected the nation.
Abbasi said that a non-partisan meeting was conducted in Quetta where the problems facing the nation were discussed while speaking at a press conference in Quetta alongside the former finance minister Miftah Ismail.
Regarding the nation’s current political and economic circumstances, the former premier stated that “tough decisions need to be made to stabilise” the nation.
Khaqan added that the discourse held in Quetta “is the solution” to the country’s problems and that politics couldn’t aid Pakistan in resolving its problems. He claimed that the conversation covered Balochistan-specific concerns as well as Pakistan’s political and economic circumstances. He continued by saying that while the fundamental problems couldn’t be resolved in eight months, something should be done to get rid of them.
