Eddie Brock and Venom’s otherworldly bromance is about to come to an end, and it appears like the trilogy is ending on a high note. The Last Dance, the story’s climax, has its debut trailer out from Sony, and it has everything: One-liners, ballroom dancing, extraterrestrial armies, extreme brutality, and even a symbiotic horse.
In the sequel to Let There Be Carnage, Eddie (Tom Hardy) and Venom (also Hardy) find themselves in a difficult situation. They had to deal with being hunted by some rather gnarly-looking aliens in addition to being sought after by Earth police as fugitives. “The duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance,” reads the official description. It appears like they’ll enjoy themselves at the very least.
The Last Dance features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham in addition to being written and directed by Kelly Marcel, who also helmed the first two films. October 25 is when it opens in theatres.
