HANGU: On Saturday, surveillance video from the Doaba police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu district showed an explosion at a mosque there.
The video depicts suspected bombers riding a motorcycle approaching the Doaba police station.
A mosque inside the Doaba police station in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, experienced an explosion on Friday that resulted in at least four deaths and five injuries.
According to authorities, the incident occurred within the confines of authorities Station Doaba during the Friday service.
According to the police source, “the mosque’s roof caved in due to the impact of the blast,” adding that between 30 and 40 individuals were reportedly trapped beneath the debris.
Police officials stated that “two suicide bombers are involved in the attack,” adding that one bomber targeted the police station’s gate and the other detonated inside the mosque.
DPO Ahmed said that the KP government has declared an emergency in hospitals in Hangu and Kohat.
