According to the Saudi Geological Survey Authority, the earthquake happened 48 kilometres northwest of Tabuk and at a depth of 19.37 kilometres.
The earthquake, which the Saudi Geological Survey described as mild and not harmful, left no aftershocks in its wake.
There were no damages or injuries reported by SPA.
