KYIV/FRONTLINE NORTH OF KHERSON: The day after Moscow declared its pullout from the strategically important capital city of Kherson province, officials reported Ukrainian troops had recaptured dozens of landmine-filled towns that Russian forces had abandoned in southern Ukraine.
According to a Ukrainian military analyst and media pundit, there were signs on Thursday night (Nov. 10) that Ukrainian forces were approaching the city of Kherson, a port at the mouth of the Dnipro River.
According to Oleksii Reznikov, the defence minister of Ukraine, Russia would need at least one week to withdraw from Kherson city.
