Prince Charles gave the keynote address at the United Nations (UN) earlier this month, and Prince Harry is being criticised for allegedly ignoring him.
According to a report in Express UK, hosts of the Royally Us podcast Christina Garibaldi and Christine Ross criticised the Duke of Sussex for ignoring Prince Charles when he spoke of “finding solace in Africa” following the death of Princess Diana.
One of the show’s viewers was quoted by Garibaldi as saying: “Daniel Wallace says when Harry talks about finding solace in Africa after Diana died is interesting.”
Especially in light of the fact that he neglects to mention that Prince Charles was the one who took Harry to Africa after his mother passed away, she continued.
Garibaldi also emphasised that a few other viewers had also brought up the fact that Harry’s trip to Africa after Diana’s passing was made possible in part thanks to Prince Charles.
“You know, I would say that grief is such a difficult thing for a lot of people,” Ross responded. In particular, and hindsight is a fascinating thing. It’s up to Harry to decide how he sort of processes that incredibly traumatic experience.
It is important to note that Prince Harry, who was only 12 years old when Princess Diana died, is known to have been severely affected.Prince Harry discussed the significance of Africa in his UN speech, saying: “I’ve always found hope on the continent. In fact, it has been my lifeline for the majority of my existence; it is where I consistently find comfort and solace. It’s where I felt the closest to my mother and went for comfort after she passed away, and it’s where I realised my wife was my soul mate.
