On October 27, the world will mark Black Day, with Kashmiris on both sections of the LoC
On Thursday, Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and around the world will commemorate Black Day to send a clear message to the rest of the world that they reject India’s illegitimate occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
The people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir will observe a full shutdown and civic curfew on this day.
Protest marches, rallies, and seminars will be held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan, and other countries to denounce the Indian Army’s invasion of the region on October 27, 1947, as well as the fascist Indian government led by Narendra Modi’s abolishment of the special status of kashmir Issue on August 5, 2019.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference issued a call for the observance of the strike and Black Day.
In a statement released in Srinagar, the APHC urged the people of Kashmir to show the world tomorrow that they will not stop fighting for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian rule.
It asked the international world to stop keeping silent about the atrocities committed by India in IIOJK and to take concrete action to compel New Delhi to grant the Kashmiris their right to self-determination in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
