Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would’remain in the spotlight and famous’ even if King Charles III revoked their royal titles in light of Harry’s memoir or the couple’s upcoming Netflix show.
Valentine Low, a royal commentator and author, told Piers Morgan earlier this week that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are ‘irrelevant’ to their star status now.
“I believe it is somewhat irrelevant. “No one cares about their titles,” Low stated emphatically.
“If you strip them of their titles, there’s still Harry and Meghan,” he continued. They’d be just as famous.”
Morgan, on the other hand, appeared to disagree with Low’s sentiment, pointing out that if their titles were removed, both Prince Harry and Meghan “wouldn’t be acting as members of the Royal Family.”
“I don’t think they go around acting as members of the Royal Family,” Low responded.
The remarks come as speculation about the titles of the Sussexes and their children Archie and Lilibet reaches a fever pitch amid reports that Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir could endanger the royal family, particularly his father King Charles’ wife Camilla.
