Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has responded angrily to the rise in the cost of petroleum goods.
Imran Khan said on Twitter that the corrupt and inept administration had ruined the nation’s economy through poor management and had oppressed the salaried and the underprivileged.
The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf also stated that the value of the Pakistani rupee against the dollar had reached Rs 262 60 paise and that the cost of gasoline and fuel had increased by Rs 35 per litre.
On Twitter, Imran Khan stated that in addition to the projected unbelievable 35% inflation in the 200 billion mini-budget, there is also likely to be an increase in gas and electricity costs.
The fact that the dollar reached 262.6 rupees after the recent increase in the cost of gasoline and diesel and the fall of 33 rupees is evidence of the corrupt, inept import government’s mismanagement of the economy. This fooled both the populace and the salaried class.
