KARACHI: Pakistan’s official delivery schedule for passport has undergone yet another change.
According to specifics, the passport office recently published a notice explaining the updated passport delivery timetables.
The delivery period for normal passport applications has increased from the prior 10-day timetable to a maximum of 21 working days.
Instead of the previous deadline of four days, the urgent passport will now be issued in five days. In just two business days, fast-track passports will be issued.
Governmental revisions to the passport delivery schedule
The department has highlighted the significance of observing set office hours in order to expedite the procedure and provide better service to citizens.
On Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, passport offices across the nation will be open.
The passport office has confirmed that the Pakistani government has stopped issuing 100-page passports. This change was previously announced.
According to information, the 100-page passport was no longer being issued. The passport office issued a statement apologizing to the public for the inconvenience, but stating that this shutdown is only temporary.
