ISLAMABAD: Registrar SC sought the services of Tehsildar for appointment to the Supreme Court for 3 years. CC Office ordered to send the most junior Naib Tehsildar to the SC. Sources revealed that the federal district administration has succeeded in dodging the biggest court in the country. The Registrar Supreme Court wrote a letter to the Chief Commissioner Islamabad on September 16, 2022, regarding sending a Tehsildar to the Supreme Court on an attachment basis. In the letter, it was clarified that the Tehsildar sent on the attachment will perform important matters including correctness and verification of records in the Supreme Court.
However, the Chief Commissioner Office Islamabad has issued orders to send the under-training inexperienced Naib Tehsildar Qaiser Kayani to the Supreme Court for 3 years instead of the Tehsildar. According to the sources, the revenue department of the district administration refused to approach the Supreme Court. The federal district administration has sent a junior, inexperienced Naib Tehsildar to the Supreme Court to check the accuracy and verification of the record of evading the Supreme Court.
ICT has already two senior Tehsildars of Grade 16 namely Owais and Ghulam Murtaza Chandio, who have been formally integrated on deputation in the Federal Revenue Department and have been posted in the Revenue Department Islamabad for a long time and both of them refused to go on Supreme Court. while 4 Senior Naib Tehsildars are also serving in Revenue Department Islamabad. However, a junior official has been deliberately sent to the Supreme Court to investigate hundreds of cases pending in the Supreme Court related to the revenue limits of the federal capital, but the appointment of an inexperienced junior officer has once again stalled this very important case.
