KARACHI – On Friday, a municipal court in the Punjabi capital issued orders for Captain (r) Safdar, the husband of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, in a case involving meddling in the internal affairs of the state.
According to sources , Judicial Magistrate Bilal Munir Waraich summoned the PML-N leader and issued an arrest order for him that was subject to bail.
Khawar Mehboob Malik, Safdar’s attorney, came prior court during today’s hearing.
The inquiry of the son-in-law of the ousted PM was already finished by Lahore police, who had filed a challan in the matter.
