2 Fatima Jinnah Park (F-9 Park)
The enormous acreage of Fatima Jinnah Park is largely covered by nature, with a few man-made structures dotting the landscape. Except for a few sections near residential neighbourhoods, the most of the park is virtually a wildlife sanctuary. The park is surrounded by a steel fence and has access doors at regular intervals, albeit only a handful are regularly open and used. A pathway runs beside an additional strip of property outside the barrier. Within the park, there is a well-kept network of walkways, as well as clean grass and a few monuments.
3 Shakarparian National Park
Hakarparian (Urdu: ; also known as Shakarparian Hills) is a hill and a national park in Islamabad, Pakistan, near the Zero Point Interchange. The original Gakhars tribal chiefs resided here before the 1947 Indo-Pak split; subsequently, in 1960-61, the clan was evacuated to build a park for the newly designated federal capital of the nation.
4 Margalla Hills National Park
Margalla Hills park (Urdu: مارگلہ ہلز نیشنل پارک) could be apark in Pakistan located in Islamabad Capital Territory, near its northern boundary with Haripur District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The park includes the Margalla Hills, which form the foothills of the Himalayas, together with Shakarparian Park and Rawal Lake.
Established in 1980, it’s the third-largest parklandwithin the world with a neighborhood of 17,386 hectares (42,960 acres). Tilla Charouni, with a height of 1604 m, is tallest peak within the park. The Park may be a major tourist destination, with Daman-e-Koh and Pir Sohawa serving as popular hill stations, while the Monal Restaurant, Shakarparian Cultural Complex, and Lake View Park are popular picnic spots.
The park is rich in biodiversity, especially rich in Sino-Himalayan fauna, most notably gray goral, muntjacand also the leopard.[6Combined, MHNP is home to around 600 plant species, 402 bird varieties, 38 mammals, and 27 species of reptiles.[7] PTDC is currently constructing a chairlift project within the park.
