At Islamabad International Airport, members of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and the Airport Security Force (ASF) detained a guy who was carrying heroin capsules loaded with the drug in his stomach.
According to the information that has been gathered, the passenger hailing from the Kurram area of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KP) was traveling to Dubai with 113 heroin-filled pills in his stomach. At Islamabad International Airport, the ANF moved quickly and took possession of the capsules after the traveler was alerted to their presence.
According to the statement made by the ANF spokesman, a separate incident resulted in the seizure of 144 kg of marijuana from an Afghan citizen on the ring road in Peshawar.
A representative for the ANF said that the illegal substances were being trafficked into Punjab through Peshawar.
On a separate occasion, the Rangers and the ANF carried out an operation together in Karachi to apprehend a native of Bahawalpur in the province of Punjab.
The individual was transporting heroin, ice, and three kilos of illegal substances in his possession.
