In advance of the PTI long march, the authorities reportedly ordered the young police officers receiving training at the Razaqabad Center to be on alert.
The police officers, who were told to assemble on the ground, will be transported by rail to Islamabad to assist the federal police in suppressing the protest.
Ahead of the PTI Long March, more than 1,000 Sindh police officers are on readiness.
It is important to note that Imran Khan, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), declared that he would begin his lengthy march on Friday.
Imran Khan announced his decision to begin the anti-government long march on Friday at 11:00 am while speaking at a press conference in Lahore today. He declared, “The long march will begin from Lahore’s Liberty Chowk.”
“It is above politics because we’re fighting for true independence,” Khan declared. We shall either succeed or fail in our jihad for true freedom. We must now choose between eradicating these thieves and becoming their slaves.
The PTI leader made it clear that there was no set deadline for when the next long march will end. “I’m saying right now that this will be the biggest march in history.”
