Arshad Sharif, a Pakistani journalist, was claimed murdered in a gunfight with Kenyan police on Sunday, according to his wife.
Javeria Siddique, the wife of Arhad, wrote, “I lost buddy, spouse and my beloved reporter @arsched today, as per police he was shot in Kenya.”

Sharif had fled Pakistan for Dubai out of fear for his life. Sharif reportedly fled for Kenya after realising he was being tracked even in Dubai, according to his close associates. Afghan assassins are said to have planned Sharif’s murder.
On the outskirts of Nairobi, Sharif allegedly received a headshot.
The High Commission of Pakistan in Kenya is still collecting data from the relevant authorities, nevertheless.
The Pakistani high commissioner to Kenya, along with other officials, arrived at Chiromo Funeral House in Nairobi to identify Sharif’s body, according to the Foreign Office, which confirmed the journalist’s passing, according to the Dawn.
Shahbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, sent his sympathies on Arshad Sharif’s passing.

Imran Khan, Pakistan’s former prime minister, expressed his sorrow on the reporter’s passing.

The entire country is in mourning right now.” In a tweet, Khan stated.
