The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the metropolis and the rest of the province may be impacted by the rain-producing system existing in central India a day after forecasting heavy showers for the next 24 hours in Karachi.
According to chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, the Indian monsoon system is expected to bring further rain to Karachi on August 23.Sarfaraz provided information about the incredibly low-pressure system, stating that it is currently over central India and is headed for the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Rainfall may result from this across Karachi, upper and central Sindh, as well as northern and eastern Balochistan.He continued by saying that one of the meteorological charts showed the monsoon system heading towards upper Sindh and South Punjab, while the other showed it heading west.
