Before the FIFA World Cup, thousands of workers in Qatar’s capital were made to leave

DOHA: According to workers who were forced from their homes, Qatar has evacuated apartment buildings housing hundreds of foreign workers in the same locations in the heart of the city Doha where visiting soccer fans would stay during the World Cup.

The majority of the workers were Asian and African, and they claimed that more than a dozen buildings had been evacuated and shut down by officials, forcing them to find any refuge they could, even camped out on the sidewalk outside one of their old houses.

Less than four weeks remain before the commencement of the world soccer championship on Nov. 20, which has garnered great international attention to Qatar’s treatment of foreign workers and its stringent social restrictions.

faisal vawda membership of pti canceled by imran khan

Faisal Vawda’s PTI membership is terminated by Imran Khan

Faisal Vawda’s membership in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was canceled by Imran Khan on Saturday.

faisal vawda membership of Pti canceled by imran khan

According to PTI, Faisal Vawda was issued a show cause notice on October 26 for breaching party rules. “You did not respond to the notice within the time frame specified.” As a result, your membership in the party has been terminated,” the notification continued.

Former federal minister Faisal Vawda has stated that he expects carnage during former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s forthcoming long march.

On Wednesday, he told a press conference in Islamabad that all evidence relating to the assassination of senior journalist and anchorperson Arshad Sharif had been washed away. He was not a man who would flee, and he said that bogus claims were being leveled against the institutions.

According to the former federal minister, Arshad Sharif is ready to return to his motherland, and his killing is planned. He was doing his job honestly, but threats against his life forced him to flee the nation.

“I have created a film and given identities, and if I am killed, the killers will be killed in the same way within 3 hours,” he stated, adding that the players in this scheme are in worldwide contact.

Vawda also admitted that he had touched the dead journalist and that he is willing to hand over his smartphone for forensic examination.

He went on to explain that Arshad Sharif had solid contacts with the institutions and was in communication with the establishment, that the senior journalist’s murder was not an accident, but rather a scheme hatched in Pakistan, and that his laptop, mobile phone, and no evidence will be found.

“A scheme is being created under the guise of the long march, and some people intend to kill people for personal benefit,” Vawda stated.

MPA Khurram Laghari retracts decision to quit PTI

PTI: MPA Khurram Laghari reverses his decision to resign from the PTI.

Khurram Sohail Khan Laghari states, “My convoy is heading forward to take part in the long march of PTI.”

Hours after declaring his departure from the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, Punjab Provincial Assembly Member Khurram Sohail Khan Laghari reversed his decision and produced a new video message claiming he remains committed to his party’s Chairman Imran Khan.

Laghari stated in his most recent video message, “I have stood with Imran Khan and Pervez Elahi and will continue to stand.”

He insisted on participating in the long march under the leadership of Elahi.

“My convoy is heading forward to join in the long march,” Laghari remarked, disclosing his participation plans.

Earlier this morning, the party’s lawmaker in Punjab announced his resignation from the Imran Khan-led party, and he also claimed that four more members were departing the party ahead of the long march.

On Friday, Laghari told Geo. tv that five more MPAs had opted to leave the PTI.

We were shown “something else,” but “something else” was actually observed, according to the MPA.

“We may also resign from the assembly,” Laghari added, adding that they are likely to resign from the Punjab Assembly within the next three to four days.

‘MPAs has denied leaving the PTI,’ says Fawad Chaudhry.

Following Laghari’s resignation, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry dismissed the notion of PTI MPs resigning, instead implying resignations from PML-N members.

“The MPAs whose names were discussed has denied quitting PTI,” he said, adding that Sheikh Rasheed had been rumored not to participate in the long march, but is now doing so.

He went on to say that at this point, the PTI will only be deserted by those who do not wish to continue politics in the future.

PTI chief Imran Khan, members of the party’s financial team, and a private bank manager were also named in the case.

A court in Islamabad granted interim bail to the PTI head earlier this month in the illegal funding case.

According to sources, arrest warrants have been obtained for other individuals such as Tariq Rahim, Hamid Zaman, and Manzoor Ahmed, and the FIA has created teams to apprehend them.

The case

The FIA had charged PTI executives in the prohibited funding case, including party chairman Imran Khan, the party’s financial team, and a private bank manager.

The FIA Commercial Banking Circle Islamabad filed the complaint.

According to a preliminary information report (FIR), former ruling party leaders breached the Foreign Exchange Act and were named as the beneficiaries of suspicious bank accounts.

The FIA launched its investigation into the PTI in August of this year after the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) ruled that the party had certainly received illegal funds.

The case had been pending since November 14, 2014, when it was filed by PTI’s founding but unhappy member Akbar S Babar.
According to the ECP’s written order, the political party received unlawful contributions from countries such as the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

Imran Khan to Continue long march on day 2

Imran Khan to continue long march from Shahdara on Day 2

Imran Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), will resume his party’s Haqeeqi Azadi March from Lahore’s Shahdara district on Saturday.

Imran Khan to continue long march from Shahdara on Day 2

Today, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry declared that the march would continue to the Gujranwala area of Kamoke.

“The affection that people have shown Imran Khan highlights the political consciousness of the nation,” Fawad remarked on Twitter, adding that the PTI wants to thank mothers who attended to the march with their children in particular.

According to the former information minister, the PTI’s Haqeeqi Azadi movement included those who wanted “to change the system for the next generation”. He maintained that the movement aimed to empower people and bring “decision-making out of closed rooms”.

“Pakistan’s middle class has come out to alter the obsolete system, and this system will change under Imran Khan’s leadership,” he stated.

“This is the country’s largest freedom movement,” the party chairman said, according to the PTI’s official Twitter feed.

PTI kicks-off march

After Friday prayers, the march left Lahore’s Liberty Chowk. Imran and other senior party leaders rode in a container to the start of the long march.

Addressing the supporters, the PTI chairman stated that the primary goal and demand of the long march was free and fair elections in the country, which would ensure Pakistan’s true independence.

“The time has arrived for us to begin the path of true independence for this country,” Imran remarked, emphasizing that he was going on the most significant journey of his 26-year political career.

“My march is not for politics, elections, or personal ambitions, but simply for the sake of ensuring that the nation is truly free,” stated the former prime minister Imran Khan from atop the container.

“Our decisions should not be made in Washington or in London; rather, Pakistan’s decisions should be made in Pakistan for the [benefit of] the people of Pakistan,” he stated.

The PTI chairman Imran Khan went on to say that he wished to see Pakistan as a country where people’s rights were respected and everyone was treated equally under the law.

Largest US automaker temporarily halts paid advertising on Twitter after Elon Musk's takeover

After Elon Musk’s takeover, the largest US manufacturer temporarily suspends paid advertising on Twitter.

The largest automaker in the United States has stopped paid advertising from Twitter following Elon Musk’s purchase of the social media business.

skynews twitter elon musk 5947008

Elon Musk’s $44 billion (£38 billion) purchase of Twitter was completed on Thursday, and he reportedly fired the company’s CEO and two other top executives.

Before announcing the formation of the content moderation panel on Friday, the world’s richest man tweeted “the bird is freed” and “let the good times roll.”

GM Motors Co said in a statement late Friday that it has temporarily paused sponsored ads on the platform as a “regular course of business” following a substantial change in a media platform.

The Detroit manufacturer stated that it is “working with Twitter to understand the trajectory of the platform under their new ownership,” and that “customer care interactions on Twitter will continue.”

In the second quarter, ad sales accounted for more than 90% of Twitter’s revenue.

At a May presentation, some ad agencies and businesses expressed skepticism and fear about Twitter’s future.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has described himself as a “free-speech absolutist,” and in an open-letter tweet on the eve of the deal’s closure, he appealed directly to advertisers.

“Twitter definitely cannot become a free-for-all hellscape, where anything can be said with no consequences!” he stated. “Twitter strives to be the world’s most respected advertising platform, strengthening your brand and growing your organization.”

Elon Musk then tweeted on Friday that the social media site would form a moderation committee “with broadly different opinions” and that “no major content decisions or account reinstatements” would be made until the council met.

In a later tweet, he stated that the firm has “not yet” changed its content control standards.

Musk has stated that he will improve the service by removing fraudulent accounts and making it a place where a “variety of opinions may be argued in a healthy manner.”

Donald Trump, undoubtedly Twitter’s most famous user, is among those whose accounts may be reinstated.

After the siege on the US Capitol in January 2021, the former president was barred for allegedly encouraging violence with two of his posts.

Elon Musk, on the other hand, labeled the prohibition a “mistake” and “morally wrong” earlier this year.

Elon Musk completed his purchase of Twitter a day before the deadline of October 28 in order to avoid the agreement going to court. After Musk backed out in July over the number of false and spam accounts, the business took legal action to compel the agreement through.

Musk earlier this week released a weird video of himself entering Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters carrying a sink with the message: “Entering Twitter HQ – let it sink in.”

Musk, who has changed his Twitter bio to “Chief Twit,” claimed on Thursday that he bought the social media platform “to try to serve humanity, whom I adore.”

Mercedes-Benz becomes latest Western company to pull out of Russia

Mercedes-Benz is the latest Western firm to abandon Russia

Mercedes is the recent Western corporation to leave Russia in the wake of the invasion of Ukraine.

Mercedes-Benz becomes the latest Western company to pull out of Russia

Early in March, the German company halted producing in and importing from the nation.

However, it has now announced that it will leave the Russian market and sell stock in its subsidiaries to a regional investor.

Ford announced on Wednesday that an agreement to leave the Russian market had also been finalized.

In March, the company had said that all of its operations in Russia would be suspended. Although it has the option to buy the shares back within five years “should the global circumstances alter,” it has now sold its 49% ownership in the Sollers-Ford joint venture.

Nissan, a Japanese company, left Russia earlier this month after Toyota and Renault did the same.

Nissan handed over its business to a state-owned organization for a small amount, reportedly less than £1, at a loss of $700 million (£600 million).

Mercedes’ exit from Russia is not anticipated to have a materially negative net impact on the company’s profitability, according to Harald Wilhelm, the company’s chief financial officer.

The choice was made after major Western businesses, including Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Coca-Cola, left Russia earlier this year.

In the early months of the conflict, other vehicle companies, including Jaguar Land Rover, General Motors, Aston Martin, and Rolls-Royce, all ceased deliveries to the country.

Mercedes, according to James Baggott, editor-in-chief of industry website Car Dealer Magazine, was in pace with other corporations when it halted exports and suspended operations in Russia early this year, but many other carmakers rapidly departed from the nation.

  • A growing number of companies are withdrawing from Russia.
  • McDonald’s will depart Russia permanently after 30 years.
  • Starbucks will leave Russia but will pay six months’ salaries.

He told the BBC that Mercedes’ failure to follow was unusual.

“Prior to the war, Russia had a rich market for luxury car manufacturers like Mercedes, with models like its G Wagen off-roader and S Class particularly popular with its elite,” he explained.

“Perhaps Mercedes hoped for a quick conclusion to the war, and now that that appears improbable, the company has finally made the long-overdue decision to leave the nation for good.”

Mercedes-Benz in Russia CEO Natalia Koroleva stated in a statement that the key considerations in the relocation were to fulfill promises to Russian clients and to keep jobs in Russia.

According to the Association of European Businesses (AEB), Mercedes sold 9,558 vehicles in Russia from January to September, a 72.8% decrease from the previous year.

1041621 elon musk donald trump twitter ban

Trump defends his own platform as Musk seizes control of Twitter.

Despite billionaire Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter Inc. and his promise to restore the former US president’s Twitter account, Donald Trump has stated he intends to use his own Truth Social platform.

Without specifically stating that he will refrain from posting on Twitter if his account is restored, Trump said in a Fox News interview on Friday, “I like Elon, but I’m keeping on Truth.”

According to Trump, when he writes on his own platform, “it travels all over the place regardless.” Everyone who is on Twitter and other social media platforms posted it nonetheless.

After a fatal attack by Trump supporters on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, Twitter banned the president.

Musk, a self-described “absolutist” for free speech, seized control of Twitter on Thursday with merciless efficiency, sacking top executives but providing no detail on how he will carry out his ambitious plans for the powerful social media network.
Just hours after Musk started a new era at Twitter, he was inundated with requests and pleas from individuals with banned accounts and world leaders.

Earlier, in a statement on his own website, Trump expressed his happiness that Musk was in charge of Twitter and that it was in “sane hands,” but he did not indicate if he would reactivate his account on the website that had banned him.

Trump continued, saying he believed his own programme “looks and functions better.”

Others who had their Twitter accounts suspended may shortly have them reinstated.

Saudis are the “second largest investors.” in Twitter following Musk’s takeover

Kingdom Holding Platform (KHC) of Saudi Arabia and Prince Alwaleed bin Talal’s private office will continue to own shares of Twitter worth at $1.89 billion after Elon Musk acquired the social media company, making them jointly the second-largest investors, the Saudi prince announced in a statement.

The acquisition was in keeping with KHC’s long-term strategy, according to Bin Talal, who tweeted the announcement on Friday and referred to Musk as “Chief Twit.”

The Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund owns 16.9% of the business, which was founded by bin Talal.

With more than 12 million Twitter followers as of January 2022 and a population of 34.8 million, Saudi Arabia ranked seventh among all nations in the world.

The world’s richest man, Musk, declared on Thursday that a $44 billion deal had been finalised.

Musk wrote, “The bird is released,” making apparent reference to Twitter’s bird logo and expressing his wish for the firm to impose fewer restrictions on what can be posted.

The self-described free speech zealot and CEO of Tesla Inc. has also stated that he wants to stop the platform from turning into an echo chamber for hatred and division.

According to those familiar with the situation, Musk dismissed Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and head of law and policy Vijaya Gadde. He had claimed that they had misled him and Twitter’s investors over the prevalence of fraudulent accounts on the site.

The sources added that Agrawal and Segal were removed out of Twitter’s San Francisco offices where they were present when the agreement was finalised.

Contrary to what he said on Friday, bin Talal had previously turned down Musk’s bid in April, claiming it fell short of Twitter’s “intrinsic value.”

Musk responded by inquiring as to Saudi Arabia’s position on free speech for journalists at the time.

Several investors, including Larry Ellison, the co-founder of the software business Oracle, and Qatar Holding, which is owned by Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, contributed money to Musk’s purchase of Twitter.

2022 10 28T141920Z 409134466 RC28AX9ANKYO RTRMADP 3 UKRAINE CRISIS BAKHMUT

Battle for Bakhmut intensifies as Russian soldiers approach.

The eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut is slowly being approached by Russian troops who are bombarding it with artillery.

While most of the recent fighting has taken place in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine, the conflict escalating near Bakhmut shows Russian President Vladimir Putin’s desire for apparent victories after weeks of obvious failures.
By seizing Bakhmut, Russian forces would have access to Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, two important Ukrainian strongholds in the Donetsk province, while also cutting off Ukraine’s supply lines. Parts of Donetsk and the neighbouring province of Luhansk have been under the hands of pro-Moscow rebels since 2014.

Assed Baig of Al Jazeera reported from Bakhmut on Friday that there was a “exchange of fire” going on between the Russians and the Ukrainians.

Despite modest progress, the Russians are still outside of Bakhmut, according to Baig. “The Ukrainians claim to have successfully repelled the attacks.”

The assault is reportedly being led by mercenaries from a Russian military outfit called the Wagner Group.
Putin acknowledged the independence of the self-declared republics supported by Russian forces before Russia invaded Ukraine in full on February 24. Russia illegally seized Donetsk, Luhansk, and two additional provinces that were partly or entirely controlled by Russian soldiers last month.

The couple was on their way to Catch Steak in Los Angeles for a birthday party, where they were joined by Nick’s brothers Joe and Kevin, as well as members of Priyanka’s family.

SC Musk Hidden Message Comp copy

Musk begins his Twitter ownership with firings and declares that the “bird has been freed.”

Elon Musk has taken control of Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) with ruthless efficiency, immediately firing top executives while providing little clarity on how he will achieve the lofty ambitions he has outlined for the influential social media platform.

“The bird is freed,” he tweeted after completing his $44 billion acquisition on Thursday, referring to Twitter’s bird logo in an apparent nod to his desire for the company to have fewer restrictions on what can be posted.

Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) CEO and self-described free speech absolutist Elon Musk has said he wants to keep the platform from becoming an echo chamber for hate and division.

Other objectives include trying to “fight” spam bots on Twitter and opening up the algorithms that decide how material is shown to consumers.

But Musk has not provided information on how he intends to do all of this or who would lead the company. He has stated that he intends to make job cuts, which has Twitter’s 7,500 employees worried about the future. On Thursday, he added that he bought Twitter “to attempt to benefit humanity, whom I love,” rather than in order to increase his financial gain.

According to people familiar with the situation, Musk sacked Twitter’s chief executive Parag Agrawal as well as its chief financial officer Ned Segal and its director of legal and policy Vijaya Gadde. Regarding the quantity of phoney accounts on Twitter, he claimed they had misled him and the investors.

The sources added that Agrawal and Segal were removed out of Twitter’s San Francisco offices where they were present when the agreement was finalised.

According to Bloomberg, which cited a source familiar with the situation, Musk, who also owns the rocket company SpaceX, intends to end permanent user bans and take over as CEO of Twitter after the transaction is finalised.

Requests for response from Twitter, Musk, and the executives were not immediately fulfilled.

Musk entered Twitter’s offices on Wednesday carrying a porcelain sink and a large smile before finalising the sale, tweeting “let that sink in.” He updated his Twitter bio to read “Chief Twit.”

Additionally, he attempted to allay employee worries about impending mass layoffs and reassured advertisers that his prior criticism of Twitter’s content was unfounded.

‘Only truth can save this country,’ says PM’s digital media coordinator.

Ahmad Jawad, the minister in charge of digital media and technologies under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, resigned, stating that “government decisions emanate from three distinct locations.”

On his Twitter account, Jawad provided a copy of his resignation, in which he claimed that his “biggest contribution to politics was the introduction of new concepts.”

The prime minister’s restrictions, he said, are the reason he is quitting his position. He also said that he joined the PML-N when it was weak and in opposition and was leaving it now that it is in power and in the government.

“I want to be clear that I did not accept a salary, a car, or any other perk or concession during my time there. In a nation where unjustified deaths occur and the truth is never revealed, where leaders like you or Imran Khan are powerless, where the truth leads to death and deception is the key to success, and where catchphrases like “respect the vote” are simply attempts to gain control. People in such a country, and particularly young people, need to make moral judgments, according to Jawad.

The moment to make a decision is now, Jawad continued, and he asked people to “give voice to your conscience.” Additionally, he claimed that he sacrificed valuable time from his life to find the truth and fulfil his duty to the nation.

He stated that the outcomes of the probe into the death of senior journalist Arshad Sharif would be comparable to those of previous inquiries conducted in the wake of the assassinations of Liaquat Ali Khan and Benazir Bhutto.

“On the Day of Judgment, you will be held accountable as a leader. You are a good man; refrain from participating in such sin. The focal person remarked in his resignation letter to the premier, “Submit a resignation and beautify the Hereafter.

He also declared that “only truth can preserve this country” and urged Pakistanis to put aside their differences in politics and stand up for what is right.

In a message to the prime minister, he stated that hereditary politics in Pakistan no longer have a future and that elections should be called right now so that the people of this nation can choose who will lead them.

Rasgulla Wedding Agra jpg

During a wedding ceremony, a man was killed in a fight over ‘rasgullas.’

Due to a lack of “rasgullas,” a fight broke out at a wedding ceremony in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, which resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man and five other people being hurt.

At a wedding in the Indian village of Etmadpur on Wednesday night, the incident took place. The lack of rasgulla sweets reportedly caused a fight to break out between the bride’s and groom’s sides.

According to local police officer Ravi Kumar Gupta, “the debate over the scarcity of the sweets evolved into a severe fight and one man attacked the attendees with a knife.”

According to Gupta, the struggle left 22-year-old Sunny with critical injuries, which led to his death at a nearby hospital. His remains were taken for a post-mortem.

Five victims of the incident were taken to a nearby hospital to receive medical attention for their wounds. The victim’s family has submitted a complaint, but no one has been taken into custody as of yet.

According to the victim’s family’s complaint, more action will be done, Gupta added.

Imran says at Liberty Chowk, ‘Our criticism of the establishment is constructive.’

Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan called the party’s criticism of the military establishment “constructive” in a speech marking the start of the PTI’s long march on Friday.

“Our criticism is for your own good,” the ex-prime minister said in response to yesterday’s press conference, while addressing the director general of the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency.

Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former prime minister, described the party’s criticism of the military establishment as “productive” as he kicked off the PTI’s long march on Friday.

In reaction to yesterday’s press conference, the former premier addressed the director general of the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency and said, “Our criticism is for your own benefit.”
Imran claimed that, in contrast to PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, he was “not a runaway who would either sit quietly here [in Pakistan] or criticise the military in London.” Imran was speaking to applauding crowds at Liberty Chowk.

“I won’t be leaving the nation. I’ll spend my entire life here “said the head of PTI.

I want to see a free Pakistan, and you need a strong military to have a free country, the speaker continued, adding that “if your military is weak, then the country loses its freedom.”

Imran remarked, “We don’t want to hurt our country, so DG ISI sir, when we criticise you, we do constructive criticism; we do it for your own good.”

“I could say a lot more, and I could even respond to you back, he said. However, I do not want to see the country’s institutions weakened “.

Azam Swati, the party leader who was recently detained by the Federal Investigation Authority’s (FIA) cybercrime branch on October 13 for making “controversial assertions” about state institutions, including the army chief, was later mentioned by the PTI head as having been tortured.
Imran alleged that the military officers’ “facilitators” had “first illegally taken up Azam [Swati], then beat him up in front of his grandchildren.” Imran continued, “He was tortured and stripped naked; earlier, Shehbaz Gill was picked up in the same way.

PM of Pakistan’s enraged response to the “Mr. Bean” jab from the President of Zimbabwe

Before the T20 World Cup Super 12 Group 2 match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, those who dismissed the “Mr. Bean” controversy were in for a rude awakening when the Craig Ervine-led team shocked Babar Azam’s team by one run on Thursday at the Optus Stadium in Perth, eliciting responses from the President of Zimbabwe and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Mr. Bean

PM of Pakistan’s enraged response to the “Mr. Bean” jab from the President of Zimbabwe

Zimbabwean President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa originally mocked Pakistan by saying, “Next time, send the genuine Mr. Bean.” Following that, Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, responded by saying, “have a habit of bouncing back.”

“We may not have the authentic Mr. Bean, but we do possess authentic cricketing spirit, and Pakistanis have a peculiar knack of coming back from setbacks. Congratulations, Mr. President. Your team performed admirably today, “the Pakistani Prime Minister wrote with an emoticon of a handclap.

Zimbabwe’s president, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, congratulated the cricket team on their victory over Pakistan on Thursday, but his reference of Mr. Bean sparked outrage. “How wonderful for Zimbabwe! Chevrons, congratulations. Send the genuine Mr. Bean the next time “He composed.

The Pakistani comedian Asif Muhammad, better known as Rowan Atkinson’s Mr. Bean, was made fun of by President Emmerson. Asif visited Zimbabwe in 2016 while portraying Mr. Bean.

Prior to their match against Zimbabwe, the Pakistan Cricket Board posted a photo of the team’s players in practise on their official Twitter account. Ngugi Chasura, a Twitter user, commented on the image by writing, “We Zimbabweans won’t forget the time you handed us Fraud Pak Bean rather than Mr. Bean Rowan; the situation will be resolved tomorrow. Just hope that the rain will come to your rescue…#ZIMVSPAK.”

The tweet sparked a barrage of social media comments, and the Pakistan-Zimbabwe match even earned the nickname “Mr. Bean derby.”

After limiting Zimbabwe to a respectable 130-8 at Perth Stadium on Saturday, Pakistan collapsed to 129-8 in 20 overs, ending their tournament. In their opening match on Sunday, Pakistan’s shocking last-ball defeat to longtime rivals India left them in disbelief.

Mohammed Nawaz’s tournament horror began when he was caught for 22 off the bowling of Brad Evans (2-25), who had an 11-run advantage in the final over and followed up a poor final over against India that cost his team the game.

Shaheen Afridi was run out on the final ball, and the Zimbabwe players erupted in wild celebration on the field.

Rana Sanaullah disputes the claims made by Azam Swati

He added that PTI supporters have been attacking officers of the institutions for the past several days. “Imrani fitna have adopted the agenda of chaos to cause riots and instability in the country,” he claimed.

In his statement, Swati was accused of “contempt of two institutions,” according to Sanaullah, who also said that the PTI leadership was “simply flinging accusations and spreading against state institutions.”

Azam Swati was in the FIA’s custody, he claimed in reference to the PTI leader being held by the organisation. Neither someone requested his handover nor was he given to anyone else. The FIA brought a lawsuit against him due to a strongly offensive tweet. The minister declared, “Facts must be presented to the nation since they openly lie.

He said that Azam Khan Swati had not provided any medical documentation to back up his claims. He declared that the accusations made by Azam Khan Swati are unfounded and will be lawfully refuted.

The minister advised PTI leaders to exercise moral courage by publicly expressing the correct things rather than compromising their reputation in order to advance their leader’s anti-state agenda.

Rana Sanaullah condemned Azam Swati’s accusations and asserted that the FIA’s case against the PTI leader was legitimate and compliant with all legal requirements.

He claimed that Azam Swati was handled legally and given the appropriate medical care. The Interior Minister stated that the red zone is a red line for any such gatherings in reference to PTI’s long march. The Minister declared that no one is above the law and that any unpleasant circumstance would be dealt with harshly.

The minister previously told the media that he would not permit any group to attack the capital city of Islamabad. The aforementioned organisation, the PTI Long March, will end the cultural state’s existence.

Rana Sanaullah stated that the Interior Ministry will carry out its duty if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march follows the law in a media interview in Rawalpindi prior to the march.

He asserted that Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, was lying throughout. Lies and false narratives were being given to the general population.

According to the Interior Minister, the Supreme Court’s and the High Court’s rulings regarding the protest in Islamabad are unambiguous.

At the location chosen by the court, the long march will have the chance to demonstrate under complete protection. He continued, “The government will uphold its obligations for lawful protest.”

Rana Sanaullah added that the inquiry commission has been given full authority over all topics relating to the murdered journalist Arshad Sharif and that a lot of new information has emerged but that he is unable to share it at this time. He said that the commission’s report would be delivered to the interior ministry.

The Interior Minister also responded to the press conference of the DG ISI and DG ISPR, saying that any department, including Army Commanders, facing criticism and allegations can express its side, and that military officers can also inform the public whenever appropriate.

He added that at Imran Khan’s request, Anti-Corruption has issued a warrant for his arrest. Rana Sanaullah stated, “Governor’s rule in Punjab has not yet been decided upon nor has any summary been sent, Imran Khan should remove the Punjab administration.”
