ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif promised maximum relief to the people impacted by the rains in Balochistan and other regions of the nation.
The country’s ailing economy challenges the government faced in trying to address the issue, and the devastation brought on by monsoon rains in the nation were among the topics the prime minister discussed while addressing a National Assembly session in the federal capital.
PM Shehbaz stated that the coalition government was aware of the damage brought on by the rains and added that it had meetings with the provincial governments for this reason.
He claimed that in areas where people lost their lives and suffered financially as a result of the rains, the provincial governments were working day and night.
The premier announced that “the federal government has decided to increase the relief package for those affected by the rains,” and that a meeting would be held the following day to discuss how to provide aid to the populace.
The premier stated that in order to recover from the losses and assist the farmers who suffered the most, the federal government will collaborate with the provincial governments.
“Put state, not politics, in focus.”
According to Prime Minister Shehbaz, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto oversaw the drafting of Pakistan’s Constitution, which portrayed Pakistan as a powerful, dynamic nation to the outside world.
No matter how much someone tries to interfere with it, the PM insisted that the Constitution will continue to direct and support Pakistan.
PM Shehbaz claimed that the 2018 General Elections saw the worst turnout in the nation’s history. He continued, “Those elections were rigged in such a way as to impose a government.”
The former chief justice issued an order that the Results Transmission System (RTS) be shut down at night and that the vote counting be halted.
PTI-led government
The PTI-led government, according to PM Shehbaz, borrowed more than Rs20,000 billion over the course of three and a half years, and during that time, millions of people lost their jobs and were evicted from their homes.
The coalition government made the decision to save the state rather than concentrating on gaining political advantage because it was aware that Pakistan was in danger of defaulting, the premier continued.
The premier noted that he had had numerous opportunities to become prime minister in the past. “I was offered to become prime minister by a president in 1992; Musharraf also offered me the PM’s post; and when Nawaz Sharif offered me the premiership, I chose to serve Punjab instead to complete the mega projects,” the premier said.
Justice is necessary for progress in a country.
The prime minister continued by stating that without justice, the nation cannot advance. “The times are difficult, but by opposing fascism, we will make Pakistan great,”
As long as he has the support of his party, the coalition’s leaders, and the House, according to PM Shehbaz, he will continue to try. He emphasized, “I will remain the same Shehbaz Sharif, the same servant of Pakistan, no matter what happens.

When discussing the state of the nation, he said: “When I go to bed at night, I can’t help but wonder why we lag behind other nations in progress. We still don’t know where we are going even after 75 years.”
He continued by saying that the court should decide while taking truth and justice into account and that, during its rule, the PTI ruined Pakistan’s relations with other nations.
He added that his government would purchase wheat from Russia if they would provide it at a discount. “They sent a letter via WhatsApp stating that Russia will give us cheap oil, while the Russian government denied any such offer,” he said.
The day before, he continued after we had already purchased 800,000 tonnes of wheat, Russia offered to sell it.
