Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasised the importance of structured and extensive Pakistan-US cooperation in achieving both nations’ common objectives in bilateral and regional spheres.
The remarks were delivered by the prime minister during a meeting with Donald Blome, the US ambassador to Pakistan, who paid him a visit on Thursday in Islamabad.
PM Shehbaz commended the US for continuing to support Pakistan’s post-flood recovery efforts during the huddle, particularly at the just-concluded Geneva International Conference on Resilient Pakistan.
According to a statement released by the PM Office, he reaffirmed how important Pakistan thought its long-standing relationships with the US were.
The prime minister emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to expanding its trade and economic ties with the US.
