RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD: Samantha Power, the administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), stated on Friday that Washington will give Pakistan an additional $20 million in humanitarian aid to lessen the consequences of the disastrous floods.
“I’ve declared $20 million more for Pakistan. I’ve personally witnessed the astounding destruction caused by the floods during my time here, Power wrote in a tweet.The USAID administrator also discussed her visit to the Dadu neighbourhood, which was devastated by flooding, and her conversations with families who had been “displaced by the floodwaters.”
One individual claimed to have never witnessed such a rainstorm in his 60 years. Young youngsters described the total devastation that had occurred in their schools.
