Two new low-cost smartphones from Vivo have been surreptitiously unveiled in China. Officially, they are known as the Vivo Y78 (t1) and Vivo Y78m (t1).
If you’re not aware, Vivo t1 edition phones are essentially the same as the original models save for the processor. These gadgets have historically used outdated chips, and the same is true of the most recent models.
Two new low-cost smartphones from Vivo have been surreptitiously unveiled in China. Officially, they are known as the Vivo Y78 (t1) and Vivo Y78m (t1).
In China, the Vivo Y78 and Vivo Y78m were first introduced in May and August, respectively. These two phones are identical and are available in a variety of colors for the same price.
The Y78m is only offered in a single 12GB + 256GB configuration. The Y78, however, is also available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations
The t1 variant of these phones has just been unveiled by the firm, months later. The only difference between the more recent variants is in the colors. In fact, they are only available this time in a single 12GB + 256GB memory combination, which costs $1,999.
However, the most recent smartphones have inferior specs versus the earlier models. They come with a chip that is significantly less powerful and a sluggish display.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, formerly known as Dimensity 930, powers the original Vivo Y78 and Vivo Y78m. They also have a 6.64-inch punch-hole LCD screen that can alternate between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz.
