LAHORE: Dua Zahra, who had previously been put to a shelter home in the city, was ordered by a Lahore court on Saturday to be transferred back to Karachi.Dua caused national news when she inexplicably vanished from Karachi, but it was later revealed that she had fled her house in order to wed Zaheer Ahmed.
Zahra will be relocated from Lahore to Karachi as per a written ruling from Judicial Magistrate Rizwan Ahmed. The court orders that the adolescent would thereafter be brought before the District West judicial magistrate in Karachi.
The written ruling also specifies that security be given to Dua Zahra.The ruling states that no one should be permitted to meet Dua before she appears in court.The situation occurred as a result of the police submitting an application to hand over Dua in accordance with Karachi’s judicial magistrate’s directive.
The Sindh High Court’s (SHC) directive to present Dua in Karachi is also reiterated in the decision.
