Islamabad: The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin met Mr. Abdul Shakoor, the newly appointed Pakistan Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
During the meeting, the Ambassador informed the Minister about the bilateral agenda and events held under the auspices of the 30th Anniversary of diplomatic relations’ establishment between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
Ambassador Kistafin dwelled separately on the international initiatives of Kazakhstan, in particular, the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, and the active participation of the Pakistani side in this forum.
The head of Kazakhstan diplomatic mission presented an official invitation to Mr. Shakur to take part in the upcoming Congress in September 14-15 this year in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
For his part, the Minister noted the high potential of Kazakhstan – Pakistan cooperation development and supported the need to increase cooperation in all the areas of mutual interest.
As for the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, he noted its importance and relevance in our days, and accepted the invitation with gratitude, having confirmed his participation.
