According to the reports, England’s visit to Pakistan, which will begin next month and will consist of a three-Test series, would most likely commence according to the timetable.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted its approval for the first Test match to be played in Rawalpindi on December 1. The match will take place in the first week of December.
Rawalpindi has been the site of 12 Test matches overall, with the home side winning five and losing three. England will be playing their first Test ever at Rawalpindi.
The England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) security staff has expressed their satisfaction with the planning for the series.
Before, it was thought that a march by a political party may have an effect on the first test match between Pakistan and England, which would cause it to be moved to Karachi instead of the twin towns of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
On November 27, the England squad will make their long-awaited trip to Pakistan and begin their tour of the country.
On Friday, December 9, the second match will be played in Multan, and on Saturday, December 17, the third and final will be played at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi. Both matches will be played in Pakistan.
