Her body was recently found after her father reported her missing after she was first murdered in May.
The suspect, Aftab Poonawala, was taken into custody after being charged with murder. The man allegedly strangled Walkar, cut up her body with an axe, and dumped the body parts in a nearby forest, according to police. The accused, however, has not yet released a statement to the media.
