Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah stopped the Islamabad Police inspector general (IG) from entering Bani Gala to seize the driver of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill.
An adviser to PTI party chairman and senior leader Imran Khan, Gill, was detained for inciting the populace against state institutions, the Islamabad police announced in a statement on August 9.
According to insider sources, the interior minister got in touch with IG Dr. Akbar Nasir to learn more about Gill’s situation.
