On Friday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m., Shah Rukh Khan, the most well-known actor in Bollywood and the face of Indian cinema, will take part in the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair.
According to a press statement, Khan’s attendance at the Sharjah Book Fair marks the first time he has received the SIBF global icon of cinema and cultural narrative award. Aside from India, Khan’s fanbase is widespread throughout Europe, the Middle East, and The Americas.
The award is an initiative of SIBF to acknowledge and celebrate people whose professional efforts have aided in bridging cultural divides and whose contributions to the arts have strengthened cultural linkages between various ethnicities.
Over the course of a three-decade career, the multidimensional actor, producer, and businessman known as SRK or King Khan has acted in more than 80 films and has a fan base that spans all racial and age groups.
Among many more record-breaking blockbusters, the versatile actor is most remembered for his love parts in the smash hits Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Devdas, and My Name is Khan.
In terms of his professional life, Khan most recently made a cameo appearance in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The 2023 January 25 release date for his movie Pathaan has been set.
The actor, who is well-known for being a voracious reader and an engaging public speaker, has discussed his love of literature and mentioned how he reads for fun.
