LONDON: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has allocated two foreign airlines seven of its landing slots at London’s Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest and most significant airports in the world.According to information provided by Geo.tv, PIA granted Kuwait Airways one flight slot for a period of six months while giving Turkish Airlines six flight slots at London Heathrow Airport.
Following the European Union’s flying ban, PIA has made arrangements with other airlines for landing slots at London’s Heathrow Airport.The transaction is being finalised in Istanbul by PIA’s CEO and Chief Commercial Officer, and PIA’s slots will be reserved once the agreement is completed.
