On Saturday, the indictment of Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah in a narcotics case was postponed because his request for a one-day exemption from personal presence was granted by a special court in Lahore for the control of narcotic substances.
According to the information that has been provided, the hearing of the drug recovery case against Federal Interior Minister Sanaullah and other accused parties took place in the Special Anti-Narcotics Court of Lahore. During this hearing, the minister’s lawyer, Farhad Ali Shah’s advocate, submitted a petition requesting that his client be excused from appearing in court.
It was asserted in the petition that Sanaullah is afflicted with heart illness, and as a result, the doctors have instructed him to completely rest in bed owing to the severity of his condition. He pleaded his case before the judge and asked that his request for a one-day exemption be granted.
As a result, the court excused him from having to appear in person for one day and ordered him to appear at the subsequent hearing that will take place on November 26.
