LAHORE: Leading cricketers from Pakistan, including Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan, have petitioned the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to change their core contracts because they are unhappy with the new agreements.
Nevertheless, after successfully negotiating revisions to many sections, the main participants agreed to sign the PCB’s central contracts.According to its report, they likely agreed to sign under the understanding that they will start up negotiations with the board regarding a few more clauses in the second week of September, following the conclusion of the Asia Cup.
After the PCB updated them on the day of departure, the players signed the contracts moments before taking off on their tour of the Netherlands.
