Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been appointed Prime Minister, according to a Saudi royal decree issued on Tuesday.
Saudi King Salman ordered a cabinet reshuffle, and the king’s son Khalid bin Salman, the former deputy defense minister, was appointed as the new defense minister.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman is the minister of energy, Prince Faisal bin Farhan is the minister of foreign affairs, Khalid bin Abdulaziz al-Falih is the minister of investment, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz is the minister of interior, and Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Jadaan is the minister of finance.
Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz is the minister for the national guard, Walid al-Samaani is the minister of justice, Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al al-Sheikh is the minister for Islamic affairs, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan is the minister for culture, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Faisal is the minister for sports, Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiah is the minister for Hajj and Umrah
