The Pakistani rupee achieved a significant rebound versus the US dollar in the interbank market on Monday, continuing its trend of stabilisation on the first working day of the week.
Details indicate that the local currency increased by Rs1.96 versus the US dollar and ended the day at Rs217.96. The rupee had a Friday closing value of Rs219.92, according to statistics from Pakistan’s central bank.
The rupee has regained a total of Rs21.98 from its record high of Rs239.94 thanks to the most recent advances.
Bull also made a comeback on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), where intraday trading saw the benchmark KSE-100 index increase by more than 300 points.
