SEHWAN: On Thursday, a bus that was carrying passengers crashed into a ditch close to the Sehwan toll plaza on the Indus Highway, killing 18 people and injuring a number of others. While efforts are being made to evacuate more individuals, five passengers were evacuated and taken to a local hospital.
The Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences in Sehwan’s Dr. Moeen Siddiqui verified that five passengers were receiving medical attention. Two of the victims are said to be in critical condition.In the meanwhile, he added that of the 18 people who died, 10 were children — four boys and six girls between the ages of 10 and 15 — and eight were women.
