The amount of money exchanged in bilateral commerce between the two nations is very low, coming in at 78 million US dollars; nevertheless, I have set a goal of increasing this amount to 300 million US dollars by the end of 2023. the ambassador is quoted as saying.
We have determined the goods that Pakistan would ship to my nation in the future as a result of our research. Rice, pharmaceutical goods, medical equipment, sports items, and building materials are all examples of things that may be sent to my nation by the Pakistani business community, which would then help the economic growth of Pakistan.
In addition, the government of Pakistan is in a position to import agricultural goods from Ethiopia at reasonable costs. These items include coffee, tea, pulses, oilseeds, and vegetables, and they will ultimately assist Pakistan in meeting the rising demand for edibles.
Above all else, Ethiopia is closely collaborating with the government of Pakistan on matters relating to climate change, which has lately resulted in a huge loss of life and economic activity throughout Pakistan and submerged one-third of the nation in water.
He said that the present administration in his nation has built a green economy by constructing agro-processing Centers and making use of technology to boost farm production.
