ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Medical Support, Relief and Rehabilitation Operations are being conducted round the clock in flood affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab.
According to a PAF news release, PAF personnel were actively involved in providing the flood victims with timely access to the essential necessities of food, shelter, drinking water, and medical care.
Following quick sample and diagnosis of water-borne illnesses among flood victims, free medical care was then given to them by the PAF Medical Lab Collection sites.
The Pakistan Air Force has given away 18,458 cooked meal packs, 1,512 water bottles, and 2,070 ration packs to needy households over the past 24 hours. Additionally, the Pakistan Air Force’s medical professionals responded to 1,699 patients in addition to giving away free food and lodging.
