We already knew Apple’s A17 Pro was a quick processor from its Geekbench test results, and now we can check how it performs on AnTuTu. With a combined score of 1,641,883 points, the A17 Pro inside the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is, unsurprisingly, one of the quickest phones on AnTuTu.
For comparison, the Apple M1 chip found in Apple laptops and iPads is just a hair away at 1,754,456 points, while last year’s A16 Bionic chip scored a 1,474,011 score. The 15 Pro Max also surpasses the nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+, which currently leads the Android market with “only” 1,632,859 points.

The A17 Pro achieved a CPU score of 392,643 points and a GPU score of 597,734 points. Apple did assert that the GPU performance of the new A17 Pro chip is 20% better than that of the outgoing A16 Bionic, while AnTuTu results indicate a nearly 27% advantage for the GPU of the more recent chipset. With a score of 306,164, the A17 Pro is also in the lead on the test of memory.
