The divorce between Princess Diana and King Charles will be shown in “The Crown.
According to an expert, King Charles III and Princess Diana’s divorce should be shown on The Crown.
Tom Bower, a royal author, thinks the Netflix series should depict the dissolution of King Charles and Diana’s marriage since it is “part of the royal saga.”
Bower stated: “I firmly believe in the rights to free speech and the free press.
“The Crown has a complete right to be televised,” I believe.
Added him: “When [Diana] gave the interview, she was confident in her statements.
“[Diana] gave the interview, and she believed what she said,” he continued.
“As a result, it is absurd to declare this interview to be history and to imply in any way that it should never be repeated.
Just put it into context, it’s a part of the royal saga.
The Crown has every right, in my opinion, to somehow replicate the interview, he continued.
“It was a seriously terrible time for the Royal Family, and Diana was speaking from the heart, even if she later regretted doing the interview because of the harm it did.
He said, “I think we’ve got to empathise with that.”
