PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, who has resided in London since November 2019, has received a diplomatic passport, according to family sources.Nawaz, though, insists that he already possessed a diplomatic passport.
Diplomatic passports are issued to dignitaries of the state, diplomats, and other entitled categories in accordance with Paragraph 45 of Part I of the Passport & Visa Manual, 2006, according to the Directorate-General of Immigration and Passports of the Ministry of the Interior.It should be remembered that Nawaz and the prime minister Shehbaz Sharif met in London today. Other prominent PML-N figures present at the meeting included Maryam Nawaz, Khawaja Asif, Malik Ahmad Khan, Sulaiman Shahbaz, and Hussain Nawaz. The league executives’ meeting lasted for roughly three and a half hours.
