LONDON: Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met on Sunday in London to discuss a variety of Pakistani concerns, including the date of the upcoming elections.
PM Shehbaz arrived in the UK on Saturday in order to represent Pakistan at the state burial of the late Queen Elizabeth II on September 19 in London.The Sharif brothers’ meeting lasted for roughly three and a half hours.
The two PML-N leaders agreed that the next general elections in Pakistan should take place at the scheduled time despite being under pressure.The brothers also concurred that the current coalition administration will serve out its whole term under the constitution.
