I wish you health and happiness. On my birthday, my family members, friends and fans have sent me messages of goodwill world wide. I am thankful to them. I am honored and humbled. Theses messages of blessings are the source of pleasure and satisfaction. The love and respect which these messages depict have given me hope and encouragement to keep on writing on human issues through my poetry and articles/ columns. One thing which I have noticed after reading theses messages is “ Love begets love”. As I love humans and humanity, I have been recognized and reciprocated. This has left indelible prints on my mind. From Pakistan, I received the messages of some of my friends, and old students which include military generals, ministers, politicians, poets, scholars, journalists and social activists. All messages were heartening and soul stirring. So many eminent literary, cultural and academic personalities which live abroad have kindly sent their messages for which I am highly indebted.
I would like to include their noble feelings for me in this post. It is a token of humble gratitude to them from me.

Dear Dr. Maqsood Jafri
Happy Birthday to you. It is long time we had met in London in a literary conference. I was very much impressed by your eloquence in English language. It was very informative and insightful speech. The audience was elevated by your knowledge of comparative literature. Your message for peace was greeted by applause. I appreciate your sincere concern about world peace and human rights. I still remember you had fervently said in your speech: “ No humanity: No religion.” I endorse your stance against racial discrimination and religious extremism. I pray for your health and happiness as the world needs humanitarians like you. Stay blessed.
Regards
Ms. Maria Peter
