LEAs choose to detain PTI leaders.
Prior to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continuing its long march toward the capital, which the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) fear may result in the closure of Islamabad’s internal and exterior routes, it was determined on Monday to arrest the PTI’s top officials.
Several PTI leaders’ arrest warrants were obtained at a crucial meeting of law enforcement agencies that took place late on Sunday night, according to sources.
Pervez Khattak, Sheikh Rashid Shafique, and Amir Kayani are among the political figures for whom arrest warrants have been issued. Additionally, it has been determined to detain Ali Amin Gandapur and Malik Aamir Dogar.
In addition, federal police, rangers, and FC will be stationed on patrol in the capital, and harsh measures would be taken against anyone obstructing the road to the Islamabad Airport.
