Kevin Pietersen, a former captain of England, on Saturday expressed his support for Virat Kohli, the former captain of India, who was benched for the next series against the Men in Blue due to his underwhelming performance.
“Good job, big guy! What you’ve accomplished in cricket is beyond what people can even fathom.. And they’re some of the best players to ever play the sport,” Pietersen commented in response to Kohli’s statement on Instagram.
Perspective, Kohli wrote in a post on Instagram. He was making reference to the phrase that read, “What If I fall? Oh, but what if you fly, my darling? Later, in a different article, Pietersen reminded Kohli that life goes far beyond the cricket bubble.”
