The divorce between Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas is escalating into a bitter court struggle as the former has filed a lawsuit to have their two girls granted to her in England.
The Game of Thrones actor filed the case in a Manhattan court and is asking for “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained,” according to Page Six.

The 27-year-old claims in the filings that the couple had already made the decision to relocate “permanently” to England, adding that “the parties were both excited for the family’s move to England.”
The X-Men actress, who was also on the tour with his brothers, “hesitantly” decided to let their girls join them as she concentrated on her professional obligations.
According to the paperwork, “the children would then at least be able to spend some time during the day with one of their parents until the Mother finished her filming commitments,” underlining that it would be a “temporary arrangement.”
They chose to break up in the middle of their lovebird relationship, which the records described as having “happened very suddenly” after an altercation on August 15, 2023.
Now, Sophie is claiming that the Hesitate singer is preventing their children from traveling to England by denying them passports.
The filings assert that “The Father has possession of the Children’s Passports,” “He Refuses to Return the Passports to the Mother and Refuses to Send the Children Home to England with the Mother.”
Additionally, Joe’s attorney acknowledged on September 19 that he was not in the mood to give Sophie custody of their girls, which spurred Sophie to file a lawsuit.
