RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Saturday that three terrorists were killed and a number of others were hurt during two intelligence-based operations carried out in various parts of North Waziristan.
A high-value terrorist commander and three other terrorists were captured in the initial operation.Three terrorists were also killed during the second operation as a result of gunfire between security personnel and terrorists, according to a brief statement from the ISPR.
The security personnel reported that they also found guns, ammo, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).According to the ISPR, “These terrorists continued to actively engage in terrorist acts against security forces, extortion for ransom, and murdering of innocent persons.”
