There have been rumours that employees at the popular short video site TikTok will be let off. Others are about to lose their jobs, while some people have already lost their jobs.
According to a news, workers throughout Europe were informed that their careers were at danger. Some US employees learned on Monday that their employment would shortly come to an end.
One of the cemployees wrote on LinkedIn that his position would be eliminated as part of “a much bigger re-organisation initiative.” David Ortiz served as one of ByteDance’s first CEOs, the company that owns TikTok.
According to a worker, the company was only letting go of non-contributors. They stated that only 100 employees would be let go, which is a relatively small percentage out of thousands of employees.
