Social media users condemned the racism of a patron who requested that the restaurant not send a Muslim delivery worker. When placing an order for food through the Swiggy app, the consumer placed the instruction in the section designated for instructions.
Shaik Salauddin, the leader of a workers’ organisation, posted a screenshot of the order request on Twitter and encouraged Swiggy to act. Without regard to their religion, Salauddin stated that they wished to deliver food to “one and all.”internet
He tweeted, “Dear @Swiggy, please take a stance against such a prejudiced proposal. We (the delivery staff) are here to deliver food to everyone, whether they are Hindu, Muslim, Christian, or Sikh.
